Rates

The average fee for a back-of-the-book subject index to an academic book ranges between €5.00 and €6.25 per indexable page (plus VAT if applicable), depending on the complexity of the text, number and types of indexes required and deadlines to be met. Fees include up to two hours of modifications to the index after delivery.

• If you would like a single index or multiple, separate indexes.
• What should be included in the index (subjects, names, etc.).
• The delivery date of the final proof and the deadline for receiving the index.
• The type of text (academic/non-academic) and its topics.
